What are the requirements to become a Tennessee Real Estate Affiliate Broker? |
| |
To become a Tennessee Real Estate Affiliate Broker you must:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Show proof of residency for 45 days in Tennessee
• Not have been convicted of a felony or crime involving moral turpitude
• Not have had a real estate application of license rejected or revoked in any state within the past 2 yrs
• Complete and pass the state approved 90 hour course consisting of 60 hours of Real Estate Principles/Fundamentals courses and 30 hours of the new affiliates course
• Pass the state exam
• Submit application with appropriate fees

A Real Estate Affiliate Broker is a person licensed by a state to represent a buyer or seller in a real estate transaction in exchange for a commission. Affiliate brokers must work under the direct supervision of an employing broker or principle broker. |
